In September 2015, world leaders committed to a set of 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development in order to achieve three extraordinary things in the next 15 years – to end extreme poverty, to fight inequality and injustice and to fix climate change.
The UN wants every school in the world to teach children about these goals, so we can help them become the generation that changed the world. And we think that’s pretty cool.
So we’re proud to be part of the founding team who are working to make it happen with the creation of the World’s Largest Lesson – a collaborative education project to support the UN’s Global Goals.
At the World’s Largest Lesson, you’ll find everything you need to teach a lesson about the Global Goals, including assembly and lesson plans, an animated film and comic book and a guide to the Global Goals for children. The site is powered by TES, another founding partner in the project in conjunction with UNICEF so do take a look and join us in making 2016 the year in which we help create a generation determined to make a change.
